current mood: excited

I haven't really been paying much attention to my LiveJournal recently. I've been busy with other things. So imagine my surprise when I received an e-mail telling me that I had a new message here and found it contained this wonderful news!

Congratulations! You have been nominated in the 2008 Ron/Hermione Awards! rhr_awards

Your piece, Taking Care of Romance, was nominated for Outstanding Missing Moment Fic.

I have no idea who nominated me for this, but whoever you are, thank you so much! This is such an honor. It's wonderful to know that people enjoyed my story.

And for anyone who happens to read this post - vote for me!

Princewatch

Once a fortnight, PrinceWatch: The All-Inclusive Podcast for the upcoming Half-Blood Prince film brings you the latest in HBP news. This podcast was created as a companion to The All Inclusive Half-Blood Prince List, which contains everything known about the film thus far. Each episode we will discuss three chapters from the book and how they translate to the film. Episode 3 includes part 1 of an exclusive interview with Rachel, who attended the recent HBP test screening.

Episode 3: The Birds, the Wizard, and the Vanishing Cabinet: Rachezee Speaks - Part 1 of a Princewatch Exclusive Interview

WARNING: SPOILERS GALORE!

In the latest episode of PrinceWatch, Rachel who saw the recent test screening in Chicago (Rachezee on Harry Potter forums LeakyLounge and Chamber of Secrets) tells all about the upcoming film in part one of the lengthy 3 part interview.

She then joins us all as we discuss the announcement that HBP will have 3D scenes, David Heyman's comments about the test screenings, as well as the over 50 pictures that emerged in the past week.

We then all move on to the next three chapters in our list discussion: The Slug Club, Snape Victorious and The Half-Blood Prince, re-enacting, once again, one of the leaked script portions.

I'd like to invite everyone to join The Pensieve Forums. Created by Hinoema, vivekgk, and myself because we wanted a place where we could have more adult oriented discussion about the Harry Potter series in terms of literary analysis - and it will be nice to have a place where we can discuss all the innuendos and double entendres Jo includes in the books. Really, who didn't raise an eyebrow at the description of Voldemort examining his own body and gently caressing his wand? ;)

Come on by and check it out. If nothing else, we would appreciate feedback on how the forum looks and operates.

Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works.

It's okay. I understand.
